DAY 1, Thursday - Depart the USA
Depart the USA to Egypt. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey 

DAY 2, Friday - Arrive in Cairo
Arrive in Cairo and transfer to your hotel in the Pyramids area. Balance of the day at leisure. This evening, meet your traveling companions at an orientation with your Tour Manager

DAY 3, Saturday - Full Day in Cairo
This morning, Visit the Pyramids at Giza, built during the Third and Fourth Dynasties. These monumental undertakings stand as a marvelous testimony to the almost unbelievable skill and determination of their builders. Enjoy an up-close view of the Great Pyramid, built for the Pharaoh Cheops, as well as the Pyramids of Khefren and Mycerinus. Not far from the Pyramids, see the great Sphinx of Giza, the legendary chimeral statue that combines the head of king Khfren with a lion's body. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure

DAY 4, Sunday - Full Day in Cairo
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Cairo. Continue exploring one of the world's largest cities, savoring the local culture and cuisine, or set off on a convenient day trip to discover even more of Egypt

DAY 5, Monday - Flight to Luxor, Embark Cruise
After breakfast, transfer to the Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, transfer to board your Nile cruise ship which serves as your floating hotel for the next seven nights. Sail pass the lock in Esna for overnight in Edfu

DAY 6, Tuesday - Edfu, Sail to Aswan
Morning in Edfu, home of the Temple of Horus, the most well-preserved temple in Egypt. Located in close proximity to the temple are the ruins of the ancient city of Tell Edfu, which has been a treasure trove for archaeologists, with artifacts dating all the way back to the Old Kingdom. Sail to Kom Ombo via Edfu. Kom Ombo is the ancient Egyptian "City of Gold." Here, the crocodile was especially revered, and fine examples of both Egyptian and Ptolemaic Greek style temples can be found. Later, sail to Aswan

DAY 7, Wednesday - Full Day in Aswan
Enjoy the day at leisure in Aswan, famed as the site of the massive Aswan High Dam as well as the Unfinished Obelisk

Optional: Sail by Felucca around Elephantine Island (PM)

DAY 8, Thursday - Morning in Aswan, Sail to Edfu
Enjoy the morning at leisure. After lunch, sail to Edfu via Kom Ombo

DAY 9, Friday - Morning in Edfu, Sail to Luxor

DAY 10, Saturday - Full Day in Luxor
Enjoy the day at leisure in Luxor. The premier destination in Upper Egypt, Luxor features an array of ruins and monuments, and is often considered the most extraordinary open air museum in the world. The city is also known for its horse carriages, called caleches, which offer a charming way to enjoy the area's many sightseeing opportunities

DAY 11, Sunday - Full Day in Luxor
Enjoy another full day at leisure in Luxor

DAY 12, Monday - Disembark Cruise, Transfer to Hurghada
After breakfast, depart Luxor. Drive along the Nile River and then cross the desert towards the Red Sea and the resort town of Hurghada. Arrive at your hotel located in the Makadi area near Hurghada, on the shores of the Red Sea, in the early afternoon. Balance of the day at leisure to enjoy the resort's recreational facilities, restaurants, bars, and the area nightlife

DAY 13, Tuesday - Full Day in Hurghada
Enjoy the day at leisure at your all-inclusive resort
